You are summoned to a meeting of Runwell Parish Council at the Village Hall on Monday 3rd August 2026 at 7.00pm for the purpose of transacting the following business:

Declarations of Interest – All Members are reminded that they must disclose any interests they know they have in items of business on the meeting’s agenda and that they must do so at this point on the agenda or as soon as they become aware of the interest. They are also obliged to notify the Monitoring Officer of the interest within 28 days of the meeting if they have not previously notified her about.

4. Public participation session with respect to items on the agenda and other matters of mutual interest.
The Chairman to remind members of the public and Councillors who wish to take part in public forum that Runwell Parish Council operates strict timescales (maximum 3 minutes per speaker) to receive their information in the form of statements. No debate will be allowed on any issues, only the receipt and clarification of information.
(In accordance with The Public Bodies (Admissions to Meetings) Act 1960, members of the public wishing to address the Council can do so during the public Forum). The meeting will adjourn for questions from the members of the public. The Council will first hear from Councillors and then from the public. (Maximum time allowed for this section is 15 minutes)

Applications received up to date:
(i) 25/03153/DEVEX – Land Known as The Paddocks. Proposed: Allocation of Postal Number.
(ii) 26/05145/TPO – Lodge Approach. Proposed: G2 Oak – Marked T2, T3, T4, T5,T6 – Reduce to crown break at 5m and retain for habitat- Reason: Dead
G2 Oak – Marked T7 – Crown thin by 30%, remove deadwood;
G5 Oak – Marked T8, T9, T10, T11 – Crown thin by 20% – Reason: Crown dieback -apical;
G4 and T13 – Goat Willow – Marked T12 & T13- Fell and poison – Reason: Encroaching on adjacent dwelling;
G7 Horse Chestnut – Marked T14 – Reduce by up to 1m – Reason: To clear encroachment of street light;
G7 Cappadocian Maple – Marked T15 – Fell and replace – Reason: In terminal decline;
W1 Oak – Marked T16 – Crown thin by 25%;
All works are required on the grounds of public safety.

(iv) 26/00943/FUL – 18 Canewdon Gardens. Proposed: Single storey rear extension. Extension of rear dormer and garage conversion.
